Up and coming superstar doctor April has the perfect life. She works at a prestigious hospital in New York and has recently met a handsome veterinary called Jesse. Things with Jesse couldn't be better. They complement each other on everything, except that Jesse is a bit reserved for his family. On their six-month anniversary dinner, Jesse gives April a surprise trip to Paris! April is thrilled and filled with love by this surprise. However, plans change when Jesse receives an invitation to his brother's wedding. April has no problem and is excited to meet his family finally.
