One of the best series I have ever seen. At the end of the last episode it said "The End...For Now" We are desperately waiting for the "for now" part to arrive. Are we going to ever see it or are we waiting an effort in futility? It has been nine years now.
I recently was reintroduced to this series that I had watched when it was originally on TV. I was reminded that the show truly does have all the elements you would want to have in an hour of television intrigue, humor, suspense, romance, great chemistry between all main characters, and lots of HEART. And the fact that it is a show that you don't have to worry about sharing with your family members younger than like 10 years and only that age because of some of the terrorism, kidnapping, etc, episodes doesn't hurt either! In the end, it was terribly sad that the show wasn't picked up by another station at the end of its third year. Now true fans of the show can only dream about where the different story lines would have gone. But you never get tired of watching the old episodes, either! and that is precisely why I am purchasing 2 sets of the series
Our family has watched this set of TV shows over and over. We learned so much about the challenge of being deaf. It is clean, wholesome and full of tremendous learning opportunities for all ages. Great adventure, great role model for young women, and lots of fun to watch. Moments of sheer joy and deep challenge. A must watch for families and singles who want wholesome entertainment! The faith component is solid in their lives but not at all preachy.
This was and will remain one of the best shows on TV, It was always good to watch and no matter if you have family it was a good show that was something you could all watch without a bunch of bad language or thoughts. Not like today's alleged reality TV. I enjoy some of the things on TV today, but as I said this is something that you could watch with your family and walk away with a good feeling.
I would love to meet her. It is the best show I've ever seen. I want to see her live.
