- Luther

My parents saw this movie here in Brisbane Australia in the late 50's. It was quite controversial even then. In fact the Catholic Archbishop of Brisbane preached against this movie from the pulpit at the RC Cathedral at that time! Things have changed and there is great relationship between Lutherans and Catholics here now. But not without effort. What a movie. Such great acting and such a great capture of world history. They do not make movies like this anymore. The latest "Luther" movie does not come anywhere near the mark, in my opinion. So hard to get such historical Christian drama here in the land of OZ. Kindest regards

- que es una buena obra

es una vida real benla hoy

- Martin Luther

This version of Martin Luther is my favorite. He was a robust German not a skinny little kid. Luther terrified before God at communion and shaking as he stands for his faith in the Word I remember from years ago. I know that it was made in the 1950's but I hope that it can be digitally enhanced so that future generations can enjoy it.

- Martin Luther

Of all the biopics of mortal men which I have viewed over the last half century none has impacted my life as has Martin Luther. Even after 60 years it's message to the church is clear. Our conscience must be captive to the word of God!

- Awesome Movie

A staple in my home and church for Reformation Day!
